Questions schools ask
Do parents need to install anything?
No. Ecolia works in the browser on any phone or computer and can be added to the home screen like an app, with notifications.
Can we use only some parts?
Yes. Each part (canteen, bus, clubs, grades…) can be switched on or off for your school.
Does it work with our grading system?
Yes. Your director sets the scale: 0–20, 0–100, letters or words, with your own honours.
Where is our data stored?
In the European Union. Each school’s data is kept separate and protected by strict access rules.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the size of your school. Pilot schools get special conditions — book a demo and we will tell you.
Can we keep our current software for now?
Yes. Start with Communication or Canteen & Transport next to it, and move the rest later. Nothing is lost when you switch.
Can you bring over our data from PRONOTE or Charlemagne?
Yes. We import your exports (students, families, classes, past grades) and you check every column and the preview before anything is saved. An import can be undone.
Can our data be hosted in France?
Yes, on request. By default it is hosted in the European Union (Germany).
